Take Control of Your Life
There are things in life that we cannot control and things that are under our full control. One of the first things we must do is get into the habit of distinguishing, which is which. Then we can start to take control of our lives and our destiny.
Each day we go out into the world where we are faced with the many external influences that are not part of ourselves, not under our control and that cause us to react. Influences like the weather, the news, the traffic, the crowds of people or the lack of people and the comments we hear. When you wake up to a rainy day, versus a sunny day, do you see things differently? When you get caught in traffic, how do you react? When faced with an obstacle, or failure, what do you do?
How we react is under our full control. We have that freedom of choice. We can react as favourably to a rainy day as we would to a sunny day, appreciating what good the rain does, or we can complain about the clouds. When we get caught in traffic, we can get upset, which does us no good because we cannot control the traffic, or we can use the time to visualise our dreams. When we face an obstacle we can be discouraged and even quit, or we can seek out the hidden opportunity, knowing that at least we will learn from the experience.
Your thoughts are your state of mind. A state of mind cannot be purchased, it must be created. Your states of mind are your thoughts. You can improve the quality of your life by managing your thoughts, by reframing them so that they empower rather than depress you. As an adult, you have absolute control over your own thoughts. Your thoughts control your attitude and determine how you react to situations. Your thoughts are you!
Because you have the ability to control your own state of mind, you can overcome habits and even fears. You have the capability and the right to accept or reject your thoughts. It’s called willpower. If you fail to control your own mind, how can you control anything else? Control your thoughts or your thoughts will control you. There is no halfway compromise. Mind control is a result of self-discipline and habit. Keep your mind busy with a definite purpose backed by a definite plan.
To fully grasp the complete and profound significance of the Mind is an ever-expanding exploration for human consciousness. It may well always be for us an ultimate endeavour, which we seek to understand and discover in ever-increasing increments of intelligence. The greatest discovery is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind. We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts, we make our world. We are where we are and what we are because of the thoughts that dominate our mind. We are neither masters nor victims of our attitudes. It's a matter of personal choice, the will to win and the will to excel are the things that endure. These qualities are so much more important than the events that occur
Our thought process and our reactions make the difference in our lives. To take control of our lives we must first identify the things we have control over and the things that we cannot control. All the necessary exercises to help you take control of your life and live the life of your dreams are in the book "Mind Control System".
I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT IF YOU ONLY READ ONE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT BOOK THIS YEAR, IT SHOULD BE MIND CONTROL SYSTEM. ‘THE BASIC HYPOTHESIS IS PROFOUND. THE APPLICATION OF PROVEN RESEARCH IS MASTERFUL. THE EXPLANATIONS AND SUPPORTING STORIES ARE COMPELLING AND LUCID. THE TRANSLATION OF THE RESEARCH AND STORIES INTO PRACTICAL IDEAS AND SOUND ADVICE IS NOTHING SHORT OF BREATHTAKING.’
